A couple of weeks ago, I had the pleasure of watching “The
Avengers” in a theatre full of heroes
and dreamers. Below is my review of the movie.
A mysterious tone is set when the International peacekeeping
organization, the S.H.I.E.L.D, responds to a terrorist threat. Loki is
responsible for this threat when he takes over an energy cube in the possession
of S.H.I.E.L.D. He also invades the minds of a few S.H.I.E.L.D agents for the
purpose of learning how to use the cube. The director of S.H.I.E.L.D, Nick Fury,
unites a team of super heroes to catch Loki and regain the cube. The elite team
of heroes includes Tony Stark, a.k.a. Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.), Steve
Rogers, a.k.a. Captain America (Chris Evans), Bruce Banner, a.k.a. The Hulk
(Mark Ruffalo), Thor (Chris Hemsworth), Natasha Romanoff, a.k.a. Black Widow
(Scarlett Johansson), and Clint Barton, a.k.a. Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner).
I laughed throughout the movie, mainly because of
Robert Downey Jr.’s funny performance. Even though I am a movie critic, I
cannot say any bad things about the great cast.
I liked the humorous actions of the super heroes. The
perfect example occurs when Thor kidnaps Loki and he is trying to talk with
him; however, Iron Man rudely interrupts them without understanding Thor’s good
intentions.
My friends found the action to be boring, but I don’t
see how that is possible.
Loki always does bad things and he always has
bad things happen to him, so I think the moral of the movie is to stay out of trouble.
This movie is for everybody and the MPAA rating of the
movie is PG-13. I recommend this movie to anyone who likes heroes and action
but I wouldn’t recommend this to people who like romance. This movie is really
awesome!!!
I think this movie is really great, so I give it a
score of 9.5 out of 10.
Minkyu Lee is a 15 year old Korean and he is a secondary
school student. He doesn’t like to play sports but he likes to play electronic
games and watch American dramas.
This is the official Trailer of the Avengers.
