personal reflection

I left my home one year ago. I first went to Singapore and then I came to Canada. This has given me time for personal reflection. When I was in Korea, I didn’t have to think about myself because Korean schools usually don’t ask us to do personal reflection exercises. However, I have learned that personal reflection is challenging for me because Canadian schools ask us about feelings.

I have seen that Canadians have healthy lifestyles. They eat raw vegetables frequently and Canadians play sports often. However, Korean kids like instant food and they have less free time to play sports because they have to study a lot.

Before I came to Canada, I thought Victoria would be like New York City. When I arrived here I disappointed little bit about down town. There are no tall buildings. Victoria doesn’t even look like city.

I like Victoria’s weather because it is not very cold or hot, but I don’t like the rain fall often. I like the school, but I frustrated by all of the scheduled physical activity at school because I don’t like sports and I’m not good at it.
